We were pleased to contribute to the Geelong waterfront’s Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre by successfully completing a complex helicopter lift to place rooftop units.

With the roof blanketed by over 1,100 solar panels, there was little room for error—meticulous planning, tight coordination, and expert timing were absolutely critical. Our crews worked seamlessly alongside the Built project team to ensure each lift was completed safely, and with precision and care.

A huge thank you to everyone involved—from ground support to air crew—for showcasing what teamwork and preparation can achieve. Excited to see this landmark project continue to take shape for the Geelong community!

The Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre is funded by the Australian and Victorian Governments and the City of Greater Geelong through the Geelong City Deal. It is being delivered by Development Victoria with Plenary Conventions as consortia lead and Built as head contractor.

The centre will be operated by the Victorian Convention and Event Trust.
